The mattresses are doublesided. Wool, silk, cotton and wadding are mixed up and combined, according to the model, to provide a snug feeling in wintertime and wonderful freshness in summer.

The two sides of the mattress are attached to one another by hand, with joints that run straight through the different layers of isolation, stuffing and suspension. Dotted, or overlocked, with several kinds of stitches.

This traditional workmethod garantuees the shape retention and durability of the mattresses. Skillful hands still wield hammer, awl, scissors and bodkins (the large curved or straight needles).

Treca de Paris offers different suspensions; mattress cores made out of springs that form the basis of your comfort. The twofold thermically treated springs ensure an even further enhanced dynamic and resilience.

The springs of antimagnetic alloy prevent the possible effect of electromagnetic waves.

Through the suspension with precompressed pocketsprings you rest on a supple structure which supports all your bodyparts at every point and reacts to each of your movements independently. You will feel utterly relaxed. Two persons can, in total freedom of movement, sleep very comfortably.

The suspension with double biconic springs consists of two rows of biconic springs joined breadthways, and separated by a cotton filling. The first row of springs provides immediate support at first contact. The second row of springs comes into action when the full weight of the body is supported.

The mattress edge is filled, completely overlocked, and fully trimmed. The high traditional quality of this mattress is perfected by two horizontal handgrips, trimmed as well. Treca de Paris offers an extensive assortment of undermattresses and distinguishes between 'fixed undermattresses' and 'relaxation undermattresses'.

The suspension with springs joined lengthways (biconic springs), as in the Prestige undermattress, provides a solid support for the mattress atop it.

The Omega Spring suspension consists of precompressed pocketsprings that offer a firm support and adjust themselves on all points, to the movements of the sleeper.

A perfect lie of the mattress is guaranteed by a handmade undeformable bowl, which arises from the filled mattress edge atop the undermattress.

With 5 lying positions adapted to the body, the user can, up to the millimeter, pick the desired position. All functions are independent of one another and can be activated together or separately. The movable parts are driven by 4 independent electrical motors, that are entirely soundless.

When the headrest and the support for the upper body come upward, the sleeping surface moves backwards, keeping the bedside table within reach at all times.

The remote control, with high radiofrequency, has a memory function with which you can store different positions and recall them. Should the foot-part be hindered whilst operating, the movement is suspended and one automatically returns to the previouw position.

In case of a powercut the auxiliary system, through a single press on the receiver, will bring the bed into horizontal position. The electrical part only has live current during operation. The lowcharge motors ensure total safety.

The Trecaflex-line is available as both fixed undermattress as well as relaxation undermattress, in different variations. This lathwork bedbase consists of an exclusive system of modules of 'slats and suspensions'.

A module comprises a row of separate pocketsprings, compressed between massive wooden supports, and a layer of supple multiplex wood. This system is independent and flexible, both in width as well as in length. It adapts to the user's weight, and offers even support along the full length of the undermattress.
