Creating a unique enviroment, for unique people, with unique furniture.
That was the desire that inspired Peppi Selva, in founding the company in 1968.
With his love for traditional values and innovative ideas he laid the cornerstone for a brandname aimed at succesful expansion.
That brandname, worldwide, became the embodiment of excellent design, artistic craftsmanship, and timeless creations of beautiful furniture.
The small family company has developed into a furniture brand with an international reputation.
Today, multiple independent and sharply defined production lines are gathered under the Selva Style International umbrella, so to set new trends on all fronts.
With for instance the production lines 'Selva Classic Style' (classical furniture), 'Selva Hotel Style' (the hotel division) and 'Selva Country Home Style' (pinewood furniture).
Through the endless creative interaction of traditional awareness and the power of innovation, the world of Selva becomes more varied than ever and, at the same time, entirely unique.
The nerve-centre and headquarters of Selva are in Bolzano, Southern Tirol, Italy, ever since the beginning in 1968.
This is the place where creative furniture concepts become reality, to then be supplied to more than 40 countries worldwide. The export percentage is 90%.
Primary markets are Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux-countries, Norway, Finland, Sweden, England, Spain, Japan, countries of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, the USA and Canada.
Selva-s production-centre is in Isola Rizza (Verona), Italy.
On this estate of 124.000 m², of which 73.000 m² is dedicated to production, approximately 300.000 pieces of furniture a year are manufactured for the international market.
The company, for some time now, is run by Philipp Selva, son of the now deceased Peppi Selva.
Tirelessly, he continues Selva's philosophy and tradition.
At Selva, about 280 people work, these days.
With great dedication.
And with great success: in 1998 Selva gained fourth place on the list of biggest furniture manufacturers in Italy.
In 2001 a net salesvolume of 79 million euros was achieved.
And so one can rest assured that this South-Tirol success-story shall be enriched with multiple chapters. One chapter was already written in 2002, with the founding of Selva America...
