Simon Horn has Europe's largest collection of French and classical wooden beds. The styles comprise Louis Philippe 'Lits Bateaux' (also called sleigh beds), Empire, Louis XV, Louis XVI, American Colonial, and traditional English four-posters. Available in standard widths of 2.9, 4.5, 5.2 and 5.9 ft., and standard lengths of 6.2, 6.5, 6.8 and 7.2 ft..
Simon Horn's is a truly bespoke service. Dimensions can be altered, headboards and footboards can be raised, lowered or removed. By demand, special patterns can be carved into the woodwork. Head- and footboards can be fitted with caned or fabric panels. Veneered, lacquered or painted, a selection of fine solid wood and finishings is on offer to suit all tastes and pockets.
A separate headboard for, for instance, our upholstered boxspring, lies within the realm of possibilities too. The bedsteads can be combined with boxsprings, lathwork bases and springbases, flat or adjustable, all to your liking. Lammerts van Bueren, after all, houses all top brands under one roof!
The broad range of spacesaving (pull-out) beds has a solid wooden surrounds for base, with luxurious comfortable mattresses. The unique designs hide a patented revolutionary mechanism that unfolds in a flash, creating a double bed without hard edges or dividers.
Or, if so desired, 2 separate single beds at matching height. But they are also available as 'daybed', in a normal single version, without mechanism. They offer extra places to stay for special occasions, but are also utterly suitable for appartments, studios and teenager rooms.
