Biomechanical research has shown that, based on individual build, a mattress to fit can be composed.
The scientists in Leuven analyzed the most delicate lying posture, from an ergonomical viewpoint: the side-lie.
Good support in side-lie, after all, automatically means good support in other postures.
This analysis was made of different kinds of mattresses and bases.
By projecting a lattice of lines on the back of tens of test subjects, a computer porgram was able to calculate the shape of the spinal column, and evaluate whether the mattress supports the most ergonomical position of the spine.
Thereupon, the requirements for the mattress were determined, for different types of build, based on different body characteristics: sex, weight, length, shoulder-, waist- and hip-width.

In this mattress upholstery, high-technological yarn has been processed, fibres that are strongly conductive and discharge just as fast.

Winx Uniq also uses Tencel®, in the mattress-finish: a revolutionary yarn based on wooddust (cellulose).
